Our programs provide students with the tools to be resilient, explore and innovate, build community and collaborate.
Ultimately it teaches them to serve others and live a life of purpose.
Campers participate in fun, traditional camp activities combined with grief education and emotional support, led by bereavement professionals and trained volunteers.
The retreats are geared towards veterans who have experienced combat related trauma, military sexual trauma, veteran couples and Gold Star families. Expert staff and volunteers provide activities with horses.
Opportunities to participate in meditation, group discussions and free time are often included.
There are currently 46 camp locations across the United States.
is a national free week-long overnight summer camp for children and siblings between the ages of seven to seventeen of fallen U. service members who died in any manner: combat, accident, illness or suicide.
